Have you ever wondered if it would be possible to remove the title such as Dr. or Mr. in front of the lead’s name on LinkedIn, LTD, LCC from the company name or Sr. from the job title because it all sounds too formal and you do not want this in your message?

Now, this is possible! If you wish to contact the lead informally without the titles mentioned above, you should follow the steps below and learn how to exclude them.

  1. Go to the Profile Settings in LeadGiant and select General Settings

2. Once you are in the General Settings, Ignore Titles page will appear. You should enter the titles you’d like to be excluded from the leads you’ll be outreaching in LeadGiant. Please keep in mind that commas must separate the titles, and there is no limit on how many of them can be added. You can see the examples below:

Once the titles are entered, the settings will be saved automatically, and you are ready to go!

So now what will happen is that when you create a message in a campaign and choose placeholders such as first_name, company name, or job_title if the lead contains any of the titles you excluded in LeadGiant on LinkedIn, the system will ignore them, and enter only the name, without a title. For example:

First_name: instead of Dr. John, it would be simply John

Company name: instead of SMASHCOAST MUSIC, LLC, it would be only SMASHCOAST MUSIC

Job_title: instead of Sr. SEO Specialist, it would be SEO Specialist

This is a great feature to use if you wish to have a more personalized connection with people you are trying to outreach on LinkedIn, avoid any formality in your messages and increase your message reply and connection requests acceptance rate.
